Fat Loss

While looking for solutions addressing weight loss, one must pay attention that they lose fat. Excessive fat has physical and psychological implications, ranging from low self-esteem to more serious conditions like eating disorders. The underlying reasons for gaining fat are a sedentary lifestyle, hormones and stress. Medical professionals advise consistently consuming nutrient-rich food and exercising for fat loss and maintain a healthy fat percentage.

Dietary supplements and nutraceuticals have been formulated that act as adjuvants to following a healthy routine. Topical treatments like oils and gels are also developed that target areas of stubborn fat to break them down. The experts in the Food Research Lab formulate products with natural ingredients that help boost metabolism and aid in losing fat.

Scientists and researchers in the Food Research Lab identify active compounds to develop a highly functional product that yields the desired results. We offer the right solutions for your requirements through years of knowledge and practice.

We prioritise some aspects while formulating a nutricosmetic product. Firstly, any ingredient used to create the product must follow the safety requirements and perform the intended functions in the human body. We use information from trusted sources, like journals, for an existing ingredient. We publish the work in reputed peer-reviewed journals if it is a novel ingredient. Other sources of information for this include testing on animals, genomic/gene expression research, in vitro bioassays, chemical comparisons and analyses, activities (such as ORAC or oxygen radical absorbance activities), and, most convincing of all, human clinical trials. With our years of experience and knowledge, we can provide the best solutions for your needs.

We undertake tests to ensure that the products are of the highest quality from suppliers and buyers. Marker chemistry (like HPLC and GCS), microbiology tests (for E.coli, Salmonella, and Pseudomonas), heavy metal analysis (for cadmium, lead and arsenic) and contamination tests for detecting metal pieces from machinery are some such tests. We also conduct tests on stability and use compendium measures (EU Pharmacopoeia and USP) for the validation process.

We adhere to a particular set of requirements that a product must meet. This includes the manufacturing flow chart, solvents, quantitative ingredient lists, physical characteristics, GMO status, certifications, radiations, contaminants, microbiology, allergens, animal derivation, and safety (Standard Material Safety Data Sheet - toxicity or clinical testing). Before an ingredient is used in a formula, we make sure to help with its verification and clearance by the regulatory body of the target country.

Our team can help facilitate the recognition and inclusion of new material due to our extensive experience. Our product development team adheres to the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FDA 2009) and the Fair Packaging and Labeling Act (FTC 2011). Our team ensures only using ingredients listed in the American Cosmetic Association's INCI or International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients.

At the Food Research Lab, we formulate products that assist fat loss. The expert team in the Lab partners to create notable products that meet the requirements.
