What Our client required?
Assignment: Formulation of flavoured mineral water with the addition of calcium, magnesium and flavours. This case study focuses on the following:
- Formulation of flavoured mineral water,
- Addition of minerals, and
- The optimisation and finalising of flavours based on the sensory evaluation.
What did we do?
Challenges:
- Sensory profile of the product: The flavour and formulation are susceptible to changes. Flavour finalisation and optimisation were the most complex and challenging parts since the product was entirely based on flavours.
- Regulation levels: The addition of the mineral complex should be within the regulatory recommendations.
