Today’s Task
Event: Today, I had a plan to work on the formulation of Mint Candy
How I felt it (initially before executing the actual task): I always love to handle any project that comes with product formulation
Actual Task: Product formulation
This is a simple technique. As the temperature decreases, sugar comes out of the solution, forming crystals, which are used to make Candy. Sucrose and water are mixed and allowed to boil until they reach the end point at 132 degrees Celsius. Food coloring and flavoring agents are added, and then the mixture is transferred to the candy mold and allowed to cool down. Once the candies are set, they are removed from the mold and stored in airtight containers.

What went well?
I have done the lab trials, and the product has come out very well. However, we want to do more trials to study how to improve the product’s stability.
What Could I have done better?
I should have carried out a better formulation as a next step with improvement in the flavor of the product.
