We suggested the idea of creating a supplementary nutraceutical product with chia seeds as the prime component.
Chia seeds contain quercetin, an antioxidant that can help you avoid various illnesses, including heart disease. The seeds are also high in fibre, which can help to lower blood pressure and, as a result, minimize your risk of heart disease. Chia seeds have a high fibre content.
Chia seeds usually have a long shelf life. However, because they are high in omega-3 fatty acids, incorrect storage will cause your seeds to go rancid over time. Chia seeds will not go spoilt if stored for a long time, although their quality will deteriorate with time.
Hence our nutraceutical experts at the Food Research Lab came up with a plan to compress cold-pressed chia seed oil in the form of soft gel capsules.
