Product information: AJI MORI Sauce Corp. DBA Susi Koo issued a voluntary recall of the following product.

Product Name: Aji Mori, Chillimami sauce

Size: 250 ml

Serving Size: 1 tbs (15g)

Reason For Recall: Potential Foodborne Illness – Clostridium botulinum

Health Risks: No illness has been reported ever to date for this product.

Regulatory Actions: Los Angeles, California-based Aji Mori Sauce Corp., doing business as Sushi Koo, has voluntarily recalled its Chillimami Sauce because it was not produced and distributed under the oversight of the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Cannery Program. As such, FDA officials say that the product is more likely to be contaminated with the microbe Clostridium botulinum.
