What We Did Today?
Event: I decided to work on the shelf-life extension of Chlorophyll water today.
How I felt it (initially before executing the actual task): I find innovative product formulation exciting.
Actual Task: Product formulation and shelf life extension
What did I learn?
The formulated product turned out very well and had an excellent sensory score of 8 out of 9. However, the product had no stable shelf-life, and microorganisms’ growth was observed in the samples. Pasteurization and UV treatment processes were done to prevent microbiological growth and extend the shelf life of the product.

The Food Research Lab had formulated ready-to-drink chlorophyll water, a functional beverage with excellent sensory properties.

What went well?
The product formulated was good in all sensory aspects. The shelf life of the product was observed to be increased.
What could I have done better?
Chlorophyll water with different treatment procedures to extend the shelf-life further could be formulated.
